Pepsin IP is a proteolytic enzyme obtained from gastric mucosa that hydrolyses proteins into peptides under acidic conditions.
Supplied to Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) grade, it is used in digestive enzyme formulations, including tablets, capsules and liquid preparations, often alongside other digestive enzymes.
