Lactobacillus Buchneri
Silage inoculant that improves aerobic stability.
Overview
Lactobacillus buchneri is a heterofermentative lactic acid bacterium used mainly as a silage inoculant. During ensiling it converts part of the lactic acid to acetic acid, which improves the aerobic stability of silage and helps retain its nutrients.
Better-preserved silage supports feed quality, digestibility and feed efficiency in ruminant production.
