Enzyme Bioscience Pvt. Ltd. is a B2B manufacturer of enzymes, probiotics and custom blends, based in Surat, Gujarat, India. Since 2012 the company has built a portfolio of more than 100 enzymes and probiotic strains for pharmaceutical, food, feed and industrial customers in 21 countries. Who we are

Enzyme Bioscience was founded in 2012 with a manufacturing plant in Surat, Gujarat. We supply formulators, R&D teams, QA departments and procurement teams who need enzymes and probiotics with consistent, documented quality.

Our work is organised around three activities:

• Manufacturing: enzymes and probiotic strains produced at our Surat plant.
• Laboratory support: in-house R&D and QC labs.
• Custom blends: multi-enzyme and enzyme-probiotic combinations through our ENZYVIVE® service.

The industries we serve

Our product ranges are grouped by application, because the same enzyme often needs a different grade, form or specification for each industry.

• Pharmaceutical: pharmacopoeial grades such as pancreatin, pepsin, papain, fungal diastase and serratiopeptidase.
• Food and bakery: enzymes for dairy, juice, starch and baking applications.
• Animal feed: enzymes such as phytase, xylanase and protease for feed formulations.
• Probiotics: Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Bacillus and yeast strains.
• Textile, detergent and leather: process enzymes for desizing, bio-polishing, cleaning and leather processing.

Quality and certifications

Certifications show buyers that a supplier’s systems have been assessed. They do not replace your own qualification, but they set a baseline. Our certifications are listed below, with what each one means for a buyer.

For pharmaceutical and food customers, these certifications are usually the first items checked in a supplier questionnaire, followed by product-specific documents. Note that FDA registration of a facility is not an FDA approval of any product. Copies of current certificates are available on our certification page and on request.

In-house R&D and QC

Our R&D and QC labs are in-house at our Surat plant. For customers, this means questions about an enzyme or its specification go directly to the manufacturer rather than through a trading intermediary. Every product can be supported with a technical data sheet (TDS) and a certificate of analysis (CoA) on request.

The two documents do different jobs:

• TDS: describes the product, its declared activity, typical application conditions and storage recommendations. It is the starting point for trials.
• CoA: reports the test results for a specific batch against its specification. It is what QA teams check at goods receipt.

Copies of certificates for the facility can be requested alongside these documents for supplier-approval files.

Enzymes and probiotics from one source

Because we manufacture both enzymes and probiotic strains, customers developing combined products can source both from one supplier. This is common in digestive and gut-health formulations. It can simplify supplier approval, documentation and logistics. Through ENZYVIVE®, the two can also be supplied as a ready blend.

ENZYVIVE® custom blends

Many customers do not need a single enzyme. They need a blend matched to a substrate, process or product. ENZYVIVE® is our custom-blend service for these cases. From enquiry to supply

Most new projects follow the same path. It starts with a clear description of the application and ends with documented, regular supply. The overall timeline depends mainly on the length of the customer’s own trials.

1. Enquiry: tell us the application, the substrate and the result you want.
2. Sample and TDS: we send material and documentation for evaluation.
3. Your trials: you test the sample in your own process or formulation.
4. Fine-tuning: if needed, the blend or grade is adjusted through ENZYVIVE®.
5. Order: supply begins, with a CoA available on request.
6. Packing: products ship in 25 kg or 50 kg HDPE drums or in retail pouches.

Supplying customers in 21 countries

We supply customers in 21 countries. For export buyers, an FDA-registered facility and Halal and Kosher certifications help with the documentation many destination markets require. Industrial customers usually take 25 kg or 50 kg HDPE drums, which suit warehouse handling and dosing. Brands that sell direct to consumers can use retail pouches instead.

What to look for in any enzyme manufacturer

Whoever you buy from, a few checks make supplier qualification more reliable:

• Activity, not weight: compare offers by declared activity units and assay method.
• Grade fit: make sure the grade (pharmacopoeial, food or feed) matches your use and your market.
• Documentation: ask for TDS, CoA, storage conditions and shelf life before you approve a source.
• Certifications: check that the certifications your market needs are current.
• Trial support: run your own trials with production-representative samples before you scale up.
